Clinical Studies Sweden is a national collaboration between Sweden's six healthcare regions, supported by the Swedish Research Council. Forum South is a co-operation between Region Blekinge, Region Halland (the southern part), Region Kronoberg and Region Skåne.

Coordinated Monitoring Saves Time, Money, and Carbon Dioxide
2024-06-18
Monitoring a clinical research study often requires many long trips within and outside of Sweden. Therefore, in 2018, Clinical Studies Sweden initiated a development effort that marked the beginning of a new type of Coordinated Monitoring. With Coordinated Monitoring, a coordinating monitor receives assistance from colleagues across different regions.

Clinical Studies Sweden’s clinical trial protocol template for medicinal products has been updated to a new version and is now available only in English.

Research process

Get an overview of the different phases of the research project, from idea to archiving. The parts of the clinical study are described overall and for studies with drugs and medical devices there is more specific information.

Our templates and supporting documents can be used to assist in the conduct of clinical studies. The templates are quality reviewed and updated regularly.
